Biography

Lifeng Lai received the B.E. and M. E. degrees in Information Science and Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China in 2001 and 2004 respectively, and the PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the The Ohio State University at Columbus, OH, in 2007. He was a postdoctoral research associate at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Princeton University from 2007 to 2009. His current research interest includes Wireless Network Security, Statistic Analysis and Its Applications, Smart Grid and Cooperative Communications.

Dr. Lai was a Distinguished University Fellow at the Ohio State Universtiy from 2004 to 2007. He received the Best Paper Award from IEEE Global Communications Conference (Globecom) in 2008, the Best Paper Award from IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC) in 2011, and the Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Award from the National Science Foundation in 2011.
